There have been three Premier London Derbies (PLDs) matches in the last week. On Saturday 29 November 2025 it was Tottenham Hotspur 1 v 2 Fulham. Spurs gave themselves a mountain to climb being 0-2 down after 7 minutes. First Kenny Tete’s deflected shot went in (4 mins) and then Harry Wilson picked up on a comical error by home ‘keeper Guglielmo Vicario out of his area to sweep his shot home. Spurs improved in the second half scoring once through Mohamed Kudus on 59 minutes, hitting the post, and having a header cleared off the line. This was their 10th home defeat of the calendar year 2025, and Fulham’s first away win of this PL season.
On Sunday 30 November 2025 Chelsea entertained Premier League (PL) leaders Arsenal in a bruising PLDs match. In a goalless first half Moises Caicedo received a straight Red Card. This was The Blues’ 7th of the season which includes one for their Head Coach Enzo Maresca. Despite this Chelsea scored first (Trevoh Chalobah on 48 mins.) with Arsenal’s Mikel Merino equalizing on 59 minutes. The Gunners joined in this particular “Battle of Stamford Bridge” with 6 Yellow Cards but no major injuries.
Arsenal were in action again on Wednesday 03 December 2025 winning at home 2-0 v Brentford. Once again Mikel Merino – the mid-fielder masquerading as a striker – scored (11 mins.) and Bukayo Saka added the late second (90+1). In between Gunner’s goalkeeper David Raya made a spectacular save but was otherwise little troubled.
On Saturday 06 December 2025 the vanquished will meet with Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford. Will this be a record-making 11th home defeat for Spurs, more misery for their fans, and an exit for someone? Then it is Fulham v Crystal Palace on Sunday 07 December 2025. The Eagles are flying high being 5th in the PL, playing well, and having won at Craven Cottage last season and drawn the previous two. They will be disappointed not to get the 3 points but Fulham may well blunt that ambition.
