Fulham’s weak start to the season continued with this third defeat in their three Premier League (PL) matches although they have been scoring goals. Their 19-year-old precociously talented midfielder Josh King scored again and The Cottagers know they will have predatory eyes from London neighbours and elsewhere watching him now. Crystal Palace came from behind to claim their first PL win of the 2026-27 season. All three goals were scored by two players who started their careers as fullbacks. Tyrick Mitchell scored two goals and was substituted for Ben Chilwell (a free transfer from Strasbourg aka “Chelsea seconds”) in the left midfield position to score the winner.

Played Sunday 06 September 2026 at The Emirates Stadium, attendance 60,420.

Arsenal were not phased by Morgan Rogers early goal for Chelsea and won this all action Premier London Derbies (PLDs) match 2-1. For The Gunners “false-nine” Kai Havertz equalized and Captain Martin Odegaard – resurgent as a goal scorer – hammered home the winner early in the second half. He also scored the only goal in the 0-1 win v Napoli midweek at the start of Arsenal’s next Champions League campaign. For Chelsea Morgan Rogers has started to repay some of his mega fee, and no doubt wages, with two goals already for The Blues, both in London Derbies and more to come.

There are no PLDs matches this weekend. The next is Brentford v Chelsea on Friday 18 September 2026. Until then “Keep Safe” and enjoy your football wherever.
