The next Premier League London derbies (PLDs) game is on 5 October 2019 when West Ham United take on Crystal Palace at the London Stadium. After the first 7 games of the F.A. Premier League (F.A.P.L.) season the title looks to be a two-horse race between Liverpool and Man City already, but the Hammers are riding high in 5th on 12 points, behind Arsenal on GF, and only 1 point ahead of Tottenham, Chelsea and Palace all separated by GD.
Previous results have gone West Ham’s way, being unbeaten by Palace in the last 8 matches home and away. Scores were: 2018-2019 season 3 – 2; 2017-2018 1 – 1; and 2016-2017 3 – 0. So, although this is usually a winter fixture, and Hammers have the historical advantage, with both teams on good form, and even with Palace’s Milivojevic out, who knows. The Hammers’ team prediction of a 3 – 1 win, may be well wrong! We shall be back on 12 October to discuss the result and the next of the PLDs.
Until then, enjoy your football, Andrew at PLDs.
